LAHORE: Pakistan has allowed the wife and mother of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav to meet him in Pakistan on December 25.
Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal announced
the decision during the weekly meeting at FO saying: “Pakistan has allowed the visit of Indian spy Jadhav’s wife and mother on humanitarian grounds.”
“The visit will take place on December 25,” he added.
On purely humanitarian grounds and Indian request, Pakistan has allowed the visit of the wife of Commander Jadhav, accompanied by her mother- in -law on 25 December 2017.

An official from the Indian High Commission will also be pr
esent during
the meeting, said the spokesperson, adding that complete security would be provided to the visitors.
India has been notified about
the decision, he said.
Kulbhushan Jadhav, an Indian spy who was arrested by the security forces in Balochis
tan, was sentenced to de
ath by a Pakistani military court in April on charges of espionage and terrorism.
However, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in May halted his execution on India’s appeal.
