RAWALPINDI: Five terrorist
s were killed and 11 apprehen
ded during search and intelligence-based operations across the country, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Thursday.
ISPR, the military’s media wing, stated that security forces conducted 29 cordon and search operations and 12 intelligence-based operations in parts of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, B
alochistan and FATA.

in the operation.

eputy Commissioner Kech Sirmad Ali Khan said they were involved in a series of terrorist activities
in the area, he claimed.
In KP, a terrorist plot was foiled by the Frontier Constabulary in Bar Qambar Khel, Bara in Khyber Agency. During the operation, two terrorists, Shahid and Abdul Raziq, who were planning a major terrorist attack based on foreign directives, were apprehended, the ISPR revealed. A large quantity of explosives was also recovered from the terrorists.
