VEHARI: At least 50 people were arrested all across Punjab in search operations conducted by security agencies early
Sunday.
The operations were conducted in Vehari, Mailsi and Burewala and Pi
ndi Bhattian and took custody of 45 people who could not prove their identities and 12 Afghan nationals wer
e also arrested and weapons wer
e also recovered from them.
More than a 1000 policemen participated in the operations that took place at numerous bus stations, hotels and g
uesthouses and people were asked to prove their identities.
